AnL are so consistent, it’s almost maddening. Nova was a fantastic book this week, and GoG was almost as good. Everything made sense, and the narrative really advanced the plot of the War of Kings.

Here we follow the best battle of the War so far – Adam Warlock vs. Emperor Vulcan. No spoilers here, but the panels are really worth finding. And the continuation of the failure of Starfox’s team in their efforts to negotiate with the Inhumans had my favorite element of the AnL space stories – the occasionally poignant humor.

War of Kings is an outstanding crossover, and GoG #14 fits beautifully within its framework. Superb. Once again.
