I continue to be a consumer whore for anything and everything leading up to the War of Light and Blackest Night.  God help Geoff Johns if I run into him at Wizard World in August, I will just corner him and heap whim with praise while my wife looks on, embarassed :-)

This is another good issue in a great run by Peter Tomasi.  We get some more insight into the motives of the Zamorans and get to see their "Oa" which was pretty cool.  Also, we get another appearance by probably the creepiest member of the Sinestro Corps, Kryb.

There is some more shadiness courtesy of the Guardian who seems to have been nicknamed Scar and we see the other Guardians do their usual bang up job of being short-sighted and narrow minded.  A new law gets added to the Book of Oa which was a surprise but in hindsight made sense and will cause some interesting conflicts in future issues I'm sure.

While these issues aren't absolutely necessary for the bigger story, GLC has been enjoyable from the beginning.  If you haven't been following it, pick up the trades and catch up.
