While John Stewart is ostensibly the main character of the book, we’re seeing some seeds that this will be a lot more of a team book. We see some of the new recruits hinted at in last week’s Green Lantern 21 as they’re abruptly uprooted from their lives throughout the universe to answer the call to suddenly become space cops. There’s some great character moments here and I hope we focus more on the diversity of the Green Lantern Corps than in the past. The art here is great with Bernard Chang’s unique style put to great use in showing the alien landscapes as well as expressive faces. I was also impressed with the threat that Stewart and Fatality dealt with. Looking forward to where this title goes as it seems like a great companion to Vendetti’s Green Lantern.
