I love that the Green Lantern universe is constantly expanding both in breadth and depth. Geoff Johns has continually made Green Lantern one of the top DC titles by adhering to the idea that readers value both complexity and a universe that feels lived in. This issue, part 3 of a 4 part arc, finally explains the origins of the Indigo Tribe and it totally delivers. Told through some amazing visuals and an interesting new character, the big reveal delivers big time. The story hits on themes of redemption and deception, villainy and heroism, forgiveness and compassion. I cannot wait to see where this arc ends and how it leads into the Guardians plans for the future. The team up between Hal and Sinestro feels organic but the coming maelstrom in the GL universe feels like it could be truly awesome. Pick of the Week.
