A spectacular, somewhat St Sabastian-esque cover for this issue that continues the story of Green Lantern's redemption from brutal murderer back to hero. GA's injuries (which in any other context would have been instantly fatal!) are conveniently resolved by the magic forest, punctuated by handy flashbacks to Oliver Queen's childhood, philandering father (like father, like son), and the tropical island Year One origin of Green Arrow. We get to meet a new character called Galahad who shares the forest with Ollie (could he be Oliver's long-lost half-brother?) and see what a state Star City's been left in after it was blown to bits. Over all, the mystical, Robin Hood vibe is working well in this book, the art's decent (although a young Oliver Queen looks uncannily like Leonardo DiCaprio at times!) and it's a fun read. They really need to leave the forest soon, though. It's a good hideout for Green Arrow to return to from time to time to revive himself, but the book really needs the contrast with Star City's urban squalor.
