I was really excited for this, but there was nothing that immediately grabbed my interest. There were some interesting layout choices, which I liked, but overall, there was too much black and darker tones. I couldn’t tell what was going on in the smaller panels and I had to go back, which took me away from what was happening. As for the writing, it flowed pretty well and introduced some more new characters (again…oh DC – sigh). Overall, I’ll stick around for another issue or so, but as of yet, I remain unimpressed.
