Here’s the thing;

I am compelled to write a review because of the very low scores for this book. Is it a 5 star? No, but the story is definitely a 4 and I am think the art is a 3. The art did its job to tell the story but when compared to Justice League #1, Action Comics #1 etc… it is not on that level at all regardless of personal taste.

I am an avid iFanboy listener and have read a lot of comics for the past 10 years. I am completely new to the DCU or DCNU as it were. I don’t know anything about these characters.

Now, this book did a great job at introducing me to both Oliver Queen and the Green Arrow. I understand his world, and I can’t wait to read more. This #1 did its job perfectly. I am in for the long haul? 20 plus issues with this creative team…? Not yet but I will buy issue 2 for sure.
