The biggest problem with this book is the same problem I had with the last quarter of The Boys: Ennis does a lost of telling and very little showing. Using the framing sequence, the main character narrates the entire issue over panels of people talking about things we never see. I would much rather have seen the conversation between the group so that some characterization was established rather than be told the gist of the conversation.
