Mangalactacus!!!!

Manga art?  Page after page of narration boxes?  Totally culturally relevant blog style  headers?  Throw in Deadpool and a few Facebook references and I’ll hunt this creative team down and smother them in their sleeps (with pillows, not with love).

This is not up to par with Empowerment.

Story: 1 - Poor
Art: 2 - Average

Comments

  1. Let’s see. You bought an Adam Warren written and mostly drawn book, then bitch about "Manga art," narration boxes, and "culturally relevant blog style headers?" What the hell did you THINK you were going to get? Hyper-realistic figure drawing? Long, drawn-out scenes of quiet contemplation? It’s Adam Warren, for chrissakes! This is what he does, and does quite well. See also: Livewires, Gen13, and, yes, EMPOWERED.

    Crimeny.

  2. Not only that, but you’re the boob who thought "Fallen Sun" was 5 stars. I think you have a hole in you head.

  3. @RobAsten: Empowered is the only work by him that I read.  There were no pop culture-centric faux blog-headers on it.  There was, however, dialog.  Hilarious dialog.  This book was lacking anything funny.

@JoeCom:I have seven holes in my head.  Pity, you don’t have a brain in yours.
