Wowee did this have some problems. So first of all I am no prude, seriously I love violence and all of that when it’s appropriate, but a family has to watch their father die, then they are killed, and then the entire block that they live on is wiped out for seemingly no reason in the first couple pages in this. The villains are just a tad over the top for a Firestorm book. Secondly the characters of Ronnie and Jason the Firestorms are pretty much forced to fight by the writers in this issue. That was part of their characterization in the previous incarnation, but in this race is just pushed to an ugly limit for seemingly no reason other than to have them hate each other for something. Stupid. I kind of liked the art but not enough to follow this book anymore.

Story: 2 - Average
Art: 4 - Very Good
