This was the last book I read before falling asleep, and man, did it make for a fun night of crazy dreamin’! The cast of the Monster Squad fighting nazis. The second time I got a close-up, blood-splattered, mouth-agape reaction shot from the same guy while Frankenstein’s monster was killing someone off-panel, I knew I was in good comic book hands. Should’ve already guessed that; it’s Jeff Lemire, after all. And the art by Ibraim Roberson went down smooth like a chocolate malted. I’m definitely in for the long haul on this one!
