I thought Matt Fraction wrote a pretty good book in Fantastic Four, but this one blow it clean out of the water. While this may not be the most “eventful” issue out there it is filled with wonderful character moments, humor and charm. This is super-heroics by way of Wes Anderson. I think just involving Micheal Allerd gives this book an indie tone and it just looks fantastic. While I may not stick with Fantastic Four, this book is definitely staying on my pull list.
