There really isn’t much to say about Fear Itself #3. It’s pretty well written, it’s got a nice quick pace to it and it feels like a summer blockbuster. The problem is that while it is a pretty good action piece it really doesn’t live up to the promise of really playing as a companion piece to the current political climate and troubled economy. It’s flashy, yes, and the stakes are pretty high, but it lacks any real depth or subtlety so far. On the other hand I sure do love the Immonen art. If it were up to visuals alone this event is walking all over Flashpoint.
