I’m still not clear on what everybody wants in this series, but I’m getting a better handle on who everybody is. These characters don’t exactly break the mould: A femme fatale, a crooked cop, a crusading journalist and, apparently, the Devil himself. Cheating on your wife, lipstick on the collar, deals with the dark forces. Noir, noir, noir.
