I swear I read that in 3 minutes.
Not that I don't appreciate Bryan Hitch's art, but this issue felt like sort of a wank for his talent.
I know I should be impressed or even care that they were able to handily take down Victor the way they did and twisting the knife as it were, but I just don't give half a damn.
I like that someone finally did to Latveria what was, more or less, done to Genosha under Magneto's rule, but it would have been much more interesting if it was a different nation instead of some villain they were trying to build up.
I think the biggest disappointment of this arc is that Millar writes a damn fine Doom. It really does read with the right balance of anger and genius. But it's all just used to set up a villain that is going to be handled in 2 issues.
I do look forward to seeing how Doom gets out of the pre historic's shark's mouth, but it's not like there's a corpse, or even if there were that that'd stop them.
