The all out Weird-ness continues, but begins to take a more recognizable shape…namely, a plot.

The sheer inventiveness of this book makes me anticipate what the F will they do next? And I’ll keep buying as long as this actually goes somewhere.

I think Mieville is missing a great opportunity to explore these Heroes of the week a bit further. So far, their just funny as sh*t one panel sight gags–and that works, don’t get me wrong.

With all the Heroes on the cover, there’s an expectation that we’ll get more than a one-shot “reveal” — what I’m saying is, I want MORE. (they do let one non-cover depicted Hero roam a bit, and it was cool.)

In this issue we get the nefarious foils to our decidedly NON-hero D. The plot is starting to thicken. I’ll stick around for the next issue.

As for art, I really don’t like the inking. It’s too “sketchy.”
