  2. Good review.  It touches upon some of the problems that I had with the issue myself.  Except for a few panels, Jock’s Joker was a bit underwhelming, especially considering how gorgeous the cover is.

    My biggest beef though is that in Gotham City Sirens, Harley Quinn helped break Joker out of Arkham, yet here we have a different story as to how the Joker escaped.  Now given that this is comics, of course there exists at least a couple of plausible ways of reconciling these two accounts, but I think ignoring the perfectly good explanation for Joker’s escape in GCS was a missed opportunity to bring some cohesion to the Bat-verse.  With this issue we see why the escape was set-up the way it was, but I don’t think the pay-off was worth ignoring what went on in GCS.
