ANOTHER FANTASTIC STORY BY SNYDER. Detective Comics is the best comic book series out there by far. It is a pleasure to see what a great job the artistic team has done portraying Dick Grayson as Batman.
While Dick is a more easygoing Batman when he is with his “family” (Oracle, Red Robin, Comissioner Gordon), he is as tough as Batman can be when dealing with the bad guys. Also, the bat-gadgets are great, giving Batman that futuristic feel he used to have way back in the 90’s.
As far as the story goes it is just amazing to see how Snyder can set us up to expect one thing, and giving us something completely different issue after issue, always surpassing everyones expectations.

While I’ve always considered Detective Comics to be one of the few consitently good comic book series out there; Snyder’s, Jock’s and Francesco’s run on the series is a true masterpiece. I strongly recommend this issue, as well as all the other ones done by this creative team (871 – 877)

Story: 4 - Very Good
Art: 5 - Excellent
