oboy…where do I start?

If you go back and read my comments and my reviews you will see that I am not entirely sold on the new 52 concept. I see a lot of mismanaged characters and books out there in new 52 land (I can’t get myself to call them DCs because to be honest they aren’t to me) Deathstroke has been a big offender in that catagory, a DC in name only. The series had me excited at first and then took a terrible nose dive. Now with Rob Liefeld on board as the new writer and artist I am torn.
This issue was not the worst this series has seen. The script was ok in places and outright dreadful in others (lobo’s dialog in particular, and I a m glad to see I am not the only one irritated by it) The art is typical Liefeld. Say what you want about his proportions, anatomy and off the wall storytelling, the man brings a lot of energy to the page and that is something this book has been lacking. I admire a guy who comes out swinging, and this book needs some of that swagger. Even though it missfired on a couple of places, overall it’s a step in the right direction.
Now let the arows fly…
