Last issue’s strong ending had me excited for the finale of this story. Deadpool wants to die but he doesn’t want innocent people (especially children) to get involved. So what’s Wade to do? Well Daniel Way shows us what he can do and while this wasn’t the strongest ending in the world, I did like the outcome in the end.

There was a good mix of jokes with Deadpool trying to save the children especially with the ‘Stranger Danger’ line. But the stuff involving the military seems to be a waste and their seemed to be no purpose for them throughout the arc. In the end it’s a good issue but not the strongest. The art by Bong Dazo is pretty strong here though. From Deadpool running away on a bus, to Hulk’s ultimate way of dealing with Deadpool looks really good. The latter did surprise me because I was not prepaired for the violence that occurred. I think this arc really showed the strengths of Bong Dazo as an artist and I hope we see a bit more of his work outside of just Deadpool comics.

This issue ends on yet another intriguing development in this long running comic. (Can’t believe it’s almost at 40 issues) If it can be better then Deadpool wanting to kill himself then we could have yet another strong arc by Way.

Story: 3 - Good
Art: 4 - Very Good
