Alright I’m not gonna lie to you guys. This has been a pretty piss-poor arc. This final issue of Space Oddity really proves my theory: Never send Deadpool, or any character for that matter, into space. Deadpool in space didn’t work with that dreadful Deadpool Corps series and it doesn’t work here. The jokes in this issue fall flat and aren’t funny. The art is good, but nothing really to write about. There’s even a bit of a confusing for me because Barberi didn’t handle the whole twist at the end for everyone to be alive angle. Next issue seems to be bringing back a character that brought this title back to life three months ago. This arc should’ve been Macho Gomez vs Deadpool because that’s what made that issue so amazing to read a couple of months ago. Now? It’s just a chore to read and I shutter to think of dropping this book if it continues this trend the next arc.

  1. Nice review. I will have to read it for myself, but seeing a steadfast ‘Pool fan like yourself give it a 2/2 doesn’t give me high hopes. Here’s hoping for a something different next arc…. BTW I loved Macho Gomez and I also wish Medina would come back. Whatever happened with him?
