I am intrigued by the this new Deadpool comic. I thought Tony Moore was an interesting choice to draw Wade and when I opened up this comic and saw Captain America fighting a conspiracy theorist I was put at ease. There’re a lot of funny looking characters in this issue. Balding S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Guy (I can see how working for them would be stressful), Agent Gorman (whom resembles what I imagine young Burt Reynolds looked like, or the guy that played Caretaker in Ghost Rider. I don’t know his name, I’m 18. And I’m not looking it up!). Though the art was perfectly fine the story left me wanting more, and by that I felt it ended a few pages too soon. Deadpool has regained his healing factor, and the “skin condition” as well, but we dont know how…yet.I know this is just issue 1 and Gerry Duggan & Brian Posehn are just stray bing their legs so by the end of this arc we’ll probably know what the writing team is capable of. This did feel like the Deadpool I want to pay 3 bucks to read so I’m going to come back next issue to see how ol’ Wade deals with the undead presidents.

Story: 3 - Good
Art: 4 - Very Good
