After I heard how good Cornell was on MI13, I was excited that he was going to work on my favorite super team: The Young Avengers!!! After five issues, I am left wondering why nothing good ever happened. I am pretty sure that “Avengers Assembled!!!” might have been yelled in every issue for another mass fight of no consequence. There might have been an interesting moment (of some girl painting) here or there, but mostly I was left wondering, what’s the point of this and why is Osborn acting so lame and impotent? But I realized in this issue what the biggest problem was. Normally, I only really think about the writer and the artist, but in this issue it finally struck me that the coloring in this miniseries has been burning my eyes all along. I don’t know who those colorists are, but I hope Marvel doesn’t let this happen again.
