Jonathan Hickman continues to prove he has his finger on the pulse of the Fantastic Four. The art and colors are top-notch, the dialog is clever without seeming overly quippy. This is the comic book that reminds me why I love reading comic books. I never was a FF fan before I picked up the Millar/Hitch run and even though I love reading his take on the Four, I think Hickman is a bit better at it. And the most miraculous part of this whole series is that Hickman has made Franklin and Valerie into likeable characters and make it feel like they’re really a part of the book and a part of the family. I for one am looking forward to the upcoming Hickman era of Fantastic Four.

Story: 4 - Very Good
Art: 5 - Excellent

  1. Agreed. Keeping Franklin and Valeries’ ages close was a good call too. It is nice to see them have their own plot lines instead of just being side characters
