First time writing a review and I decided to based on Ron saying he was going to drop this book. I understand people's gripe with Daniel Way and there being almost no need to another Wolverine character, but when I first found out about Daken a few months ago, I was instantly intrigued. I don't know if his design or just the story possibilities that it opens up but I plan on going back and buying the Wolverine:Origins trades to catch up on his previous apprearences.

Disclaimer out of the way, I thought this issue was great. Way did a good job of getting us inside Daken's head and letting us know his perception of the rest of the Dark Avengers. Each character can only thinks they are going to get one over on everyone else, and that can only go on for so long, but it seemed fresh coming from Daken. I enjoyed his button pushing of Hawkeye and Venom, and look forward to more interplay between them.

On the art side of things, I think Camuncoli is a great fit. I didn't really enjoy his Hellblazer, but that's mainly because I feel it's too cartoony for that book. Here however he definitely infuses Daken with a punk attitude that fits his personality.

I can't say that I'm going to collect this book forever, and eventually it will go back to Logan being the lead, but for now I'm having fun and will continue to read.
