As this series winds to a halt, I can't help but admire it.  There is no way this book should have EVER been as good as it has been.  I had this book written off as an "i don't care" as soon as I heard about it.  But Bendis and Deodato went out, and month after month proved me wrong.

This issue was good because you got to see the fates of each member of the team in this new Heroic Age.  Also, it seems MORE than fitting to me that Daken was the only one to "escape".  He always seemed to be operating on a level above the rest of the team, to me.

The scene with Norman explaining himself was awesome, too.  Norman Osborne WILL be freed/escape someday, and because of Dark Reign, he WILL be a much more dynamic, interesting threat.  Spidey watch out.

I thought there was something really weird about the art in this issue.  This weird glaze seemed to coat the work, and not one that I remember seeing before?  I didn't think it was bad...just...odd.

All in all, a great end to whats been an admittedly great title...
