Classic. Brilliant. Heart.

What words can you use anymore that haven’t already been used?

This issue is a lock to be dominated for an Eisner. It’s that good.

The lead story in which we find out that it’s XXXXX pulling the strings was masterfully executed.

But I want to take a sec and shine the spotlight on the backup story. Foggy goes to children’s cancer ward –get ready for the tears, reader. Get ready cause they will come–especially if you have children.

I think what got me the most was the banner the kids had created..you almost glance over it. It’s placed so it’s not right in your face obvious. The banner reads: Superheroes will save us.

Man, I lost it. I had to stop and just cry for a minute.

of course, in typical Waid excellence fashioin he hits all the right emotional buttons and lets us out of the corner and makes us feel downright positive for Foggy and these kids.

I haven’t read a better “comic book” single issue in quite a while. Classic.
(they even referenced Shadowland for god’s sake–as continuity)
