Today’s issue is brought you by the word:

I wonder what’s the record for most 5-star issues for this site? Because Chew has had so many 5-star issues I’ve literally lost count….Well I guess it would be 26 issues considering we’re at #26 right now.

Anyways, what more do you want me to say on this series? It has reached a level where it’s so great to read it is literally impossible to think of more to talk about. I will notice some of the minor details as always such as the brilliant ‘hidden jokes’ Rob Guillory puts into each page. (I’m sure Layman has pitched jokes for these things too so I don’t want to give Guillory ALL the credit.) Also, it must be a pain in the ass to photocopy all of these images of food into a panel of a comic.

So yeah once again it’s a 5-star issue….If you haven’t read this series at all then I cannot help you. Cause if you tried this issue as your first issue ever of Chew I cannot image how confused you must be.
