Chew continues its run of darkly humorous, action-filled entertainments. It’s like a great tv show that never has a bad episode. Reliable, fun, irreverent. The new arc is off to a great start. And oh my, what a bizarre, totally-wrong-so-wrong-but-genius nod to James Bond’s opening credit sequence.

And after ten issues of poor Tony Chu enduring insufferable workplace conditions, shocking betrayals, and an endless series of disgusting and revolting tastebud-torture sessions, it’s nice to see him get a sweet piece from the dessert tray.
