It’s crazy how good Chew is.  The one panel first page may the best cold open I can remember ever reading in an issue.  Tony Chu, in a tux, gun dangling from one hand and sheepishly playing with his hair, while Amelia Mintz, stands frozen next to him wearing an evening dress and someone else’s blood covering one side of her face.

I couldn’t have been more torn between wanting to digest every detail Rob Guillory put into drawing this page and wanted to jump straight into John Layman’s story to explain how we got to this image in the first place.
