I have a confession to make: I never liked Catwoman. whether it was the Michelle Pfeiffer version or the animated Batman series version, I couldn’t understand what was so interesting about the character (I was 10 so back off). Now I get it. She is “bad-ass” epitomized. The writing is fantastic and fast pace. The art is the perfect compliment to that. This title has become wonderful surprise seeing as how I had only planned on reading the first issue just to try it. Now I can’t recommend this title enough.

Story: 4 - Very Good
Art: 5 - Excellent

  1. Right on. I was extremely skeptical of Winick, but he has pulled this off and accomplished exactly what he set out to do.

  2. I’m right there with you. As I stated in my review, I only picked this up initially because of March’s art. But Winick is writing one of the best pure comic books of the relaunch! I love this book and have both of my friends who go to shop with me on Wednesday hooked as well. And I always try and talk it up when I am on other boards and sites. This book is GREAT!

  3. Good job getting your review on the podcast!

  4. Agree with Boomer, Craz, and Burrito.

Can you imagine a Crazy Boomer Burrito? Taco Bell, take note!

    This is a great title!

I do think I will start picking it up in trade format at the end of this arc, though.

I had forgotten about Reach between issues, so the start of issue 5 came out of left field until I recalled what was going on.

Hot as this title is and great as the art and writing have been, I think it would be even better to read all the issues in an arc in a collected format.
