Captain Ah-Mary-, i mean Captain Marvel is back this month and the DeConnick/Andrade combo continues to provide a really unique-looking book for Marvel that continues to entertain and refresh me. The story is nothing ground breaking but the dialogue is brilliantly delivered. The “european dynamism” is present here again but with some real wonderful character acting. It’s really understated too that Jordie Bellaire is doing some fantastic work here that pairs quite well with Filipe’s art. I’ll be back for more next month.
