I have missed Megan so much, it is ridiculous.
She was the only thing I felt was really missing from this book to make it truly complete. Of course she's being written in just in time for it to be canceled, so take it for what it's worth.
I like the unique spin on Hell this book brought though. It was much more of the sword and sorcery that has flavored this series from the beginning and made it unique and interesting. I really can't wait to see what happens with Doom and Megan. I'm guessing he'll play a part in the final Dracula battle, but with this book you really can't tell.
I think the art was okay, but the back up was much better.
As for the back up, as 4chan says, this book is so British it shits the queen. I seriously have no clue how to play cricket. I've read the Wiki entry and I'm still lost.
So the back up story didn't really move me at all. It was nice to see the quiet moments with Megan and Brian and their long past, and I love Alphonso art so it was all quite beautiful, but since I don't understand the game, the framing sequence was like putting the breaks on to the story every time it popped in.
So the first story had great writing and adequate art where as the back up had great art and crappy writing. I think that equals out to the weakest issue of the series, but still quite good and worth it for the return of an excellent third tier heroine

Story: 3 - Good

Agreed on the backup story–I wanted to like it, but I just got confused by almost every word that was said, because cricket, googlies, what-have-you…kind of felt like I was left out of the jokes.
