Had this story never been told I would have felt I was missing out on a key point in the Ultimate universe. A powerful story, Fallout plays with Bendis' emotional side as well as Bagley's familiar style to show how the most important characters in Peter's life deal with his death. For me, the most stirring moment was the appearance of the little girl who was saved by Spider-Man from a fire years earlier hugging Aunt May at the funeral. It was also nice to see a funeral where superheroes attend out of costume. Though the book was a little thin for $3.99 (it could have been #1 of 4 with a bigger issue), it gave me some closure necessary to any longtime Ultimate Spider-Man reader.
