Fantastic Issue. While it may have been several issues late, we finally find out what each resurrected characters purpose is for being brought back. More or less. While this issue was essentially just another “trailer for upcoming events” issue, said “trailers” really jazzed me and I can’t wait to read more. Zoom’s was especially satisfying for me. We’ll see where it all goes from here. If you’ve been on the fence with this series, definitely pick this isuse up. If nothing in here excites you to keep reading, might be a good time to put the book down now.

The art was again solid. None of it really wowed me but nothing was hideous either.

Story: 5 - Excellent
Art: 3 - Good

Comments

  1. Great review that will hopefully give incentive to people to pick it up.  I also hope the issue does what you say and helps people get off the fence.  I would love nothing more than for people who are not interested in this book to stop reading this book.  I am sick of the lukewarm comments from people who aren’t really into this book but who are reading it anyway because they feel they have to.

  2. Definately a game-changer of an issue. I hope things really pick up from here. I too found Zoom’s to be particularly satisfying. I wondered why such a monster should be allowed back, but I guess his was a mission that only he could accomplish. I have do disagree with you on the art though. I thought the full page of white lantern deadman was pretty exceptional. This was clearly the best issue of the series so far.
