With this issue we meet the worst Freedom Fighters ever. This team is so dysfunctional that the get each other killed in the big battle of this issue. I loved seeing how Blue and Gold dealt with this while still keeping their persona's as incompetents on. I really like the growth we have seen in Booster. He will do almost anything to keep Blue Beetle alive. As he carries him on his shoulders and hive his speech, I think he's not just talking about that moment, but about the whole situation they are in. I also love the ending and what these two have decided on to solve their problem.
Jurgens is turning out some great art here. As Booster's creator he understands the character and how he would move better than anybody. Seeing someone draw what they had created themselves is a real treat for me. He's great with the humor parts as well as the grim final battle of the Freedom Fighters.
This was another great issue from the man who has become one of my all time favorite writers in comics.
