This is an amazing comic. I encourage all adult readers to pick up this book. It is a masterful psychological thriller. The first issue is oversized and beautifully illustrated. It was a brilliant move to release this book on Halloween. I hope that the horrible weather on the East Coast doesn’t keep people from picking up this title. I can’t say enough good things about it. I suspect that Hollywood will be making inquiries about this intellectual property. Thankfully, this book moves at a much better speed than Spencer’s Morning Glories. At the same time, there are a ton of unanswered questions at the end of the first issue and I’m thrilled to see where this book goes. Riley Rosimo’s artwork is amazing. There isn’t an artist in comics whose style lends itself better to this work. If you haven’t picked up a copy of this book, please do so. You won’t regret it. If you have to purchase a copy online or from Comixology, do so. Bedlam doesn’t disappoint. Retailers are heavily supporting this book. By my most recent count, there are seven covers: (1) the NYCC variant; (2) the NYCC sketch variant; (3) Forbidden Planet; (4) Detroit Fanfare; (5)Larry’s Phantom Variant; (6) Bedlam’s regular issue; and (7) Bedlam 2nd print. Copies are out there for you to read. This comic is not for young people. Don’t let your adolescent child read it. Don’t be discouraged by the amount of heavy speculation and the abundance of variant covers. At the end of the day, this book is a plain old great story.
