Such an inconsistent book. Mediocre issue. Then a dynamic, interesting issue. BAck to Mediocre issue. This is more of a mediocre.

Lord Battle is a great character full of potential. But Winick just breezes through this mini-arc too quickly.

This title needs to get back to the storytelling of the first arc that started in issue #1.

I want Batwing to be consistently interesting. The only reason I stick with it is because just when I think “meh” (like the issue with the “Jackals” on the front, ultimately turned out to be pretty good)….

….Winick just let’s the sh*t hit the fan and THINGS HAPPEN…cool!

But, man, it’s a real up and down book.
