I’m not quite sure why I bought this issue. Finch wasn’t the artist and that is really the only reason I’ve kept this series for so long. All that aside I felt that this was probably one of the better issues thus far. I felt as though this was more of a one-and-done story that somehow fit into the ongoing story of the past 7 issues. I liked that it kind of stood on it’s one and that it basically ended at the end of this issue. The long arcs are starting to drain me a bit so a quick one issue story really appealed to me. Even though Finch wasn’t the artist, I felt Ed Benes filled his shoes nicely. It wasn’t Finch, but it didn’t feel too out of place either. I’m looking forward to issue 10 when the new writer jumps on. It should help solidify this book.

Story: 3 - Good
Art: 4 - Very Good

  1. Not as good as previous issue but still better than Detective. And of course not as good as Batman.
