May 16, 2012 8:44 pm Another great issue of Batman, and the backup story was much more interesting than it was last month. My question is, how did the dinosaur stomp like that? Did Alfred or Bruce cause that, and has that been done previously in Bat- history? Cuz it seemed a little contrived, too convenient... kinda lame.
May 11, 2012 10:40 pm I missed Paquette's art in the second half of the issue. The writing felt pretty slight too, but the cliffhanger made me look forward to next month. All in all, there was not a lot of meat here, so a disappointing read compared to issues 6 and 7.
May 8, 2012 10:40 pm Not as good as previous issue but still better than Detective. And of course not as good as Batman.
May 3, 2012 8:46 pm Another great issue, better than the last. Although I didn't think the backup story added much of anything of interest.
April 18, 2012 9:18 pm Snyder and Paquette are giving Moore and Bissette a run for their money. As Randy Jackson says, "Yo dawg! Swamp Thing is back in the house!"
April 18, 2012 9:16 pm Good art but I don't like the writing on this book nearly as much as Snyder's Batman or Batman the Dark Knight.
April 18, 2012 9:13 pm Fun story, good art. Sure there were plot holes but this is still better than Detective Comics, though not as good as Snyder's Batman.
April 18, 2012 9:09 pm I bought comics in the 80s then stopped for 20 years. Now that shows like "The Big Bang Theory" are making it chic to be geek and I have kids I started buying again with this issue. I'm hooked and have since bought more! I've been getting back in touch with my inner artist as well. Good job DC!
April 18, 2012 9:03 pm I enjoyed this issue but not as much as #6.
