One day I’ll understand what’s happening.

Until that day, I at least get some great bits of dialogue that, while I don’t quite know what’s happening in the grand scheme of things, still allow for my brain to create a story within the comic book. I like Morrison a lot, though I’m not an obsessive. I’ll be honest and say that lately he confuses me more than pleases me, but he typically delivers at the end.

Since this is almost ending, I’m hopeful that it will come together.

The art in this issue was awesome. Some of the best art of the week too, made up for some of the rushed stuff from before.

I still feel a bit let down by ROBW overall – but once it’s all done, and I know the end point (besides just Bruce coming back) – I think that it will definitely read better.

Story: 3 - Good
Art: 5 - Excellent

  1. At first, I HATED Morrison’s take on Batman.  After rereading it all in one big chunk (because I didn’t understand what happened the first time) I fell in love with it.  He’s a writter with huge ideas that don’t work as well as single issues as they do overarching themes and plots.
