Just finishing reading this issue this morning, I was super excited to read it and find out what happens. I had mixed thoughts about the death of Damian before I dove into it, but wanted to give it a chance. As I read this it became more clear that the art style for this story and ending did not work. I feel the style of art work is too "crumbly" if that makes any sense. Something as important as possibly loosing a major character in the batman family should have had a darker, sharper art style, but again that is my opinion. The story also felt rushed to me. Maybe if I read the arc all together it may flow better, but for this single issue I was left with the thoughts of "Slow down", "Whats happening" and "that's it?" I think back to the past devastating moments in the family and what images come to mind, Batman carrying Jason Todd body, the joker shooting Barbara Gordon, Bane breaking Batman's back, and of course young Bruce Wayne kneeling over his dead parents bodies. Batman Incorporated #8 did not have the same effect on me, I'm left feeling crumbly about it.
