I am not going to say I am not a fan of Geoff Johns/Gary Frank. Having said that, this is not worth $22.99! Is it worth what its going for on Amazon? yes but you will be left with a huge… want?

Maybe it’s because I am such a huge fan of these two that I feel cheated. The art was great but I don’t think Johns lived up to my expectation of using Gary Frank’s strengths. This is the team that gave me the gem SUPERMAN SECRET ORIGIN. There is a lot of potential here and I only felt teased. This is a GN! not a first issue!

Strength: The Art, A more realistic Gotham criminal, Women with big butts, I cannot lie I like them.
Weakness: The characters are complete strangers and I am supposed to care? I need more backstory on the Alfred/T.Wayne relationship. How was Bruce raised? What kind of dirty politician was the Penguin? and the list goes on…

Yes there was a lot of emotional moments here but they fell flat because I did not care for the characters enough. I wanna know how Alfred raised a little brat with serious issues. yes, gordon and barbara lost a loved one, but what kind of woman was she? I know there is more to come but we did not pay to see a trailer!
