The very impressive Batman and Robin title took a bit of a step in the wrong direction with this issue. It felt like a forced “one-shot” type of book that was merely a break into what has been a fantastic story. This book was neither good nor bad and added little to Tomasi’s story or the Night of the Owls event.

What was unique about this book was that only Damian was in it. Since the Reboot I have always felt that this book has been more of a Robin story, and it seems Tomasi is proving my point. This run has been the story of Damian and quite-frankly I love that!

Though the book itself was average at best it was promising to see signs of more Damian driven plots to come. In a DC Universe drowning with Batman stories it is great to see Damian take the lead, making B&R unique enough to keep me coming back for more each month.

Story: 3 - Good
Art: 4 - Very Good
