Batman and Robin revitalized my interest in the batverse but this issue wasn’t that impressive.  I like Philip Tan’s use of darkness and shading in his art but not much else.  He can draws Scarlet and Robin well but everyone else looks distorted.  The think the writing fell apart.  I don’t particularly like what Morrison is doing with Jason Todd. The one thing I’m still enjoying are the new characters that have appeared. Scarlet is very interesting and someone named Flamingo appears as a new villain in this issue.  I hope this is just a small lapse in a comic I’ve been really enjoying.
