well.. I really enjoyed this. Especially enjoyed it when Jason put Damien in his place. That’s the point at which I realized Morrison hadn’t missed a step. When Damien was forced to care about Scarlet the deal was sealed. Having done these things Morrison’s made Damien into a very real character and I can’t help getting more interested in his role.

I’m captivated by Morrison’s Bat-world. He’s brought so much to the table, juggling it with the greatest of ease. It’s no wonder he’s Geoff Johns hero. Why I care about Scarlet is simple: she’s going to redeem Damien. Somewhere down the road Morrison will make this happen. Likely it’ll be a love interest.

So I guess what’s best about it is, Morrison’s moving the story forward. It think that’s all I can ask (that and finding a way to bring Bruce back from prehistoric earth(?). I can’t keep from shaking my head as I write that. It’s just so fucking ridiculous).

Lotsa talk about the art within the forum and, damn, it’s warranted. Tan’s killing me here. There were several decent panels, but there were many times I just had no idea what was taking place (Penguin going out the window to be more specific). There was a very awkward unmasked Dick at one time, and please, Jason, keep the hood on.
