Batman is easily one of my favourite; if not favourite comics coming out of the new 52 simply because of how the story has unfolded in every issue by Scott Snyder and with art by Greg Capullo to compliment the writing and this week’s issue is no exception.

The action dims down in this issue compared to the previous two fantastic issues of #5 and #6 and in return we get more of an insight into how deep the court of owls has reached and thats really where the secret reveal comes into play. I’m not going to spoil what it is but it really gives you an idea of how the court of owls has really dug deep into not only Gotham city but someone in the bat family

Capullo’s art in this is issue nails it for Bruce; perhaps because its been a while since we’ve really seen his face but in this issue it really shows on Bruce’s face from the stubble and scratches to the tiredness how much he’s gone through with his run in with the court prior to this issue.

Hopefully the succession of Snyder’s and Capullo’s work continues right through the Night of Owls cross over and onwards because the enjoyment will just keep rising.
