Did anyone else feel like they had just watched a great movie when they were done reading this one? I found this to be an edge of the seat thriller the whole way through.

Snyder’s incarnation of the Joker is more sick, twisted, and even more lost to reality than almost any we have seen before. I have always loved the concept of the Joker testing the worthiness of Batman, and the kindered spirit mentality he clearly has for “Bats”, and that is played up big time in this story. Even better is the haunting scene between the Joker in Jim Gordon when he tells him he’s been hiding under his bed, and has evidence to support it.

The use of Harley was perfect, and it set up the new level of insanity of the Joker wonderfully. Using Harley to reenact the Red Hood origin story was a great move.

Capulo as always crushed it, he is on his game for sure. I can’t wait to see where this goes. Snyder can have every penny I have to my name if this level of greatness keeps coming.

Story: 5 - Excellent
