I’ll keep this short and sweet:

This isnt a terrible series, but it’s nothing spectacular. The art is good, but the story is pretty standard for a team up book like this. Like any stories like this, like Marvel vs DC; there is just too much set up and in the end…it just doesnt get the ball rolling until it’s too late. This story is a little better cause Namor is a character who isnt used very much when you think about it. But when he is used, like The Order or New Illuminai, he is just written well like another certain king of the sea if used by a good writer.

I’m disappointed that Marvel is advertising this as a Ross story cause I just dont see any of his story elements he normal does. Other then his brilliant covers, which never get old no matter how many he does, it just seems like he did this series for the money.

Maybe it’ll read better in trade, or at least be a nice pick me up at a library. I’m not going to drop this just yet, but if this is STILL filler by issue 5 or 6…then it’s the end for me.

Story: 2 - Average
Art: 3 - Good
