  1. I agree with your statements BW though I wouldn’t rate it as low except the art.  In fact I’ll rate it after this comment.  The art is horrible and I haven’t been a Ramos fan either which is odd because I like anime and manga style art.  I hate how he draws huge freakin feet.  The story wasn’t bad considering what Gage had to work with.  Remember this is an Intiative book and the Initative era is done and now we’re in Dark Reign.  Were Dark Reign has opened up a lot of story to be told in other books, I think it has messed this book up some.  I hope this book will get back on top again.

  2. I totally agree on the art, it’s just a mess, like when Yu was on New Avengers post Civil War.

  3. I don’t care about these characters in the first place, I seriously doubt Gage likes them either.  I loved his writing on Stormwatch PhD, and those were characters that were new to me at the time.  So I think he hates writing this as much as I hated putting 12 minutes into reading the bottom of my stack.  It was there for a reason.  I’m dropping this one because it’s a waste of time and money.

I found myself being distracted by how the art is scrawled out, I was insulted by that Slapstick character whom I’d never heard of and hope I never do again.  The Scarlet Spider costume was tired when Spider-Man was wearing it, I don’t see what they’re milking these characters or that costume for.  Isn’t it StarkTech, shouldn’t it not work unless it’s sanctioned activity by Norman Osborn?

Sloppy, sloppy, sloppy.  I did like the Tigra moment, but it could have just as easily been in another book.

@DorianP – word.  WTF post Civl War?  Yu redeemed himself with Secret Invasion, I dropped New Avengers for a while because of his art, then had to go buy them all anyway because I wanted the full story leading into Secret Invasion.  I lose some respect for an artist or writer who is okay with releasing sub-par stuff for a while because they’re holding back for later.
